Welcome to my portfolio website. My name is R-Jay Ruiz; I'm a graphic designer, an artist and a photographer. I love to create and build. Art, design and photography are my passion, and they are also the skills that I have developed the most.

I graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Communications and a minor in Art History. My foundation in design and visual art began with my high school experience. I had the privilege of going to the High School for the Performing and Visual Art where I graduated amongst Houston's talented individuals.

I consider myself blessed to have a wonderful wife and daughter. My wife is a geologist, and together we have a love for nature and the great outdoors. The perfect weekend getaway for my family is camping and fishing. I am also a fan of consistency and precision; and regularly practice target shooting with guns and bows.
